Portfolio Projection

Our portfolio projection simulator is a hypothetical example meant to project the possibility of a future portfolio value. No projection can accurately predict a future result, so programs were developed to generate possible returns based on past performance. These projections should only be viewed as informational and not as a basis for investing since past performance may have no bearing on future results. The portfolio projection calculates a distribution of random daily returns, enabling the user to determine probabilities of future value. Specifically, we back test all of our portfolios to determine their statistical finger prints. Using that “finger print” we generate thousands of potential, random, daily returns. Those daily returns are used to project future equity curves which are then statistically evaluated to come up with expected future values based on probability, along with best and worst case expectations. The future returns have 90% probability of falling within the projected range. It is important to note that projections are based on past market performance which does not guarantee future performance. Additionally projected returns do not factor in any fees or taxes that may apply. Your personalized projection date is based on the date of birth you've entered, and an assumed retirement age of 67. This portfolio projection is a hypothetical example based on these calculations. Each investor is different depending on his/her current financial situation and actual retirement age.
